Why I am Running For Re-Election in District 1

District 1 is a melting pot of rich culture, diversity and vibrancy and I’ve been honored to serve as your Orange County Commissioner. There is still so much work to do and I am committed to working tirelessly in my second and final term. Our community deserves a public servant dedicated to transparency and accountability, someone who works for the people not the powerful and that’s who I am. I love west Orange County and believe our future is bright! Please join me on this journey for re-election in 2024!

In 2020 I entered the race for Orange County Commission District 1 against conflicted candidates who wanted to profit off of their position instead of doing their job to represent the residents of the District.
I refused to sit back and allow the destruction of our conservation lands, the exploitation of our natural resources and special interest take over of local government. The work to preserve a high quality of life for all of our residents is ongoing and takes collaboration with our municipal partners, nonprofit providers and citizen volunteers. Together we’ve made great strides in the updates to Orange County’s Comprehensive Plan and Orange Code but we haven’t crossed the finish line, in fact we just found our stride and we have to stand shoulder to shoulder to accomplish our shared goals. I want to thank each of you who supported my initial race in 2020 and welcome new supporters in my re-election efforts. Let’s do this!
